I have enough Jegs and Summit stickers to wallpaper the dining room. Permission was denied.

When I was a kid there was a guy that raced a 69 Camaro. Lived across from my best friends house. Sometimes when we'd see him out working on the car we would stop over and asked if he had any stickers. STP were plentiful back then. He'd say, "don't make the car go any faster". Still cool to get them today.

When I was in High School one of my rides was the family 55 Dodge station wagon. My bros somehow came up with an STP sticker as wide as the tail gate.

Tool boxes are covered in them.

Gee thanks, in addition the the money I just paid you for the parts I can advertise for you for free. Nope, they get my tool box only. HudginJ3, I'd of loved to see that tailgate covered in an STP sticker though, that's epic!

LOL That was back in 1966. I'm sure there's a pic of it but don't know where. My dad finally sold it in the 90's and the guy actually restored it back to original.

Yeah, I know that guy, see him everyday.
Back in the 60’s I went to the drags in Amarillo and one of the Dodge SSA’s was completely covered with the regular size STP stickers (Dodge believed in overcoming drag with horsepower).
I covered my original toolbox with stickers. Nowdays I throw them in a drawer. The drawer is full.

A long while back I picked up a 4'x4' piece of plywood, painted it Ford blue and used to put all my stickers on it. It was going to be art for my dream garage. Sadly I lost it some while back, man I had some cool old stickers...
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
