Hello guys , after some reserch about my t5 swap and vibration , finally i found a huge mistake from cjpony .
it's more than one year that i am driving with wrong u joint on rear driveshaft .
Misleading was the description about u joint size , and where i can use that driveshaft .
They were too much sure on use and big word used to emphatize that combo even balanced !
Balanced was not , and who did the job again ( here in italy ) sayd was a banana driveshaft . Heated up and made it straight again with new weights .
Back to the guilty u joint was 1.062 cup on every side instead 1.062 / 1.125 . ( 2 per side ) .
This ujoint combo size was specially for ford ( spicer 5-1204x) .
The problem now is clear , like the noise and vibration coming from underside .
The question is about axle flange yoke : Do you think that comes worn using the wrong ujoiint ?
is that needed to replace ?
Does anyone has changed the axle yoke in order to have same ujoint size ? ( 1.062 on every side )
Or still using the combo size u joint ?
There someone can give me some item code or where looking for it if i need to change this flange ? ( 8 inch diff)
Thanks !

Glad you found that problem. Common Ford U- joints are 3.219" & 3.622 in width, and as you found out, cup diameters of 1.062 & 1.125.
To find your part number just search for the two width descriptions, i.e. 3.219 x 3.622. Both Spicer and Denny's Driveline have good charts.

Thanks Bob , unlucky i can't find the right combo between width and cup diameter . very difficult to match . please can you give me some ujoint code ? 3.219 x 3.622 with cup 1.062 and 1.125 -
example : moog 430 says 3.220 x 3.622 cups 1.062 and 1.125
But rockauto refers 2.375 x 3.218 and i don't know who is right
Also dannysdriveshaft do not have one piece ujoint with that specific size .
Please can someone help me to find correct code ? thanks

1310 is 3.219 inches wide.
1330 is 3.622 inches wide.
If you need both widths, it's a combination 1310/1330 joint.
My 65 8" has a 1310 Big Cap pinion yoke. If yours is the same, with a 1330 driveshaft, you should need this one.
If you have a 1310 driveshaft, the 1310 BC is the correct joint

what driveshaft did you buy from cj pony ?
i bought mine there and have been fighting a vibration ever since,

Measure the caps on the pinion yoke. If they're not 1 1/8", you have the same problem Alessandro had.
It doesn't look like any of their driveshafts have the correct Big Cap cup size for the pinion yoke.

See my updated post about my u-joint/vibration. The locks on the U-joint were hitting the rear yoke....and destroying it in short order! I removed the locks on the yoke part of the u joint and works vib free! Found out they are NOT needed!
