I have a 1965 mustang small bearing 8" rear. I want to upgrade the rear to disc brakes. I was wondering if the Shelby rear disc brake calipers will fit the MS brackets.

You are going to have to be more specific. What year Shelby? Which brakes? How big are your wheels?
I have an extra set of 2015-2020 Mustang GT 13” rear discs you could pick up cheap. Then use MustangSteve GT2015-RSM brackets to mount them. I have same on my 66..

I am very interested in those 2013 brakes. The calipers I was looking at were for a 2009 Shelby they are on ebay for 79$. I have your GT front brake bracket set up on my car.I currently have 2013 GT brakes up front. I have my 17" wheels for my car as well.

You can likely get a set of these for similar price off ebay, maybe even newer (prettier) than the ones ai have. These will cost alot to ship since I no longer have commercial account.
Mine are the black calipers. Rotors are near new.

Will the 2009 shelby calipers fit your rear brackets? I looked on rockauto and it looks like the shelbys used the same calipers and rotors in the rear as the v6 and GT Mustangs.

Yes.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
