For those people using the the top of the pillar post as their connection are on the three point seta belt post. You can use this to drop seat belt whee it cuts across your neck and acts like a saw blade when driving for 6-8 hours. If you do go this route, you have to cut the sewing on one end and snake it through this connection point. It really made our seat belts more comfortable.

Dan, here are the pics. I couldn't figure out hoe to get them turned correctly from my phone. I rotated the pic 90 degrees in my phone and it flopped 180 on the screen.....have to work on that later. This is the 8" drop down. The sleeves for the latch in the enter are 11" which works out well. Wesco will sell you custonm colors, but they can't be returned. If that is soemthing you are intereseted in, order the short belts for the back seat. It's much cheaper for something you might not like. The sleeves, and box over the retractor all come black. I had to paint the drop down sash in the first pictrue. The supplied mounting kit came with a 90 degree bracket that I persuaded into a 45 for th retractor. The front andf center latch mounting points were from Ford's seat belts.
Try this link or call them directly. The website can be difficult to navigate to find these again. It also works better from a PC than a phone with the diferent drop downs for options.
I saw photos Ed posted for the drop down he used for his car. They are a really good option if your existing belts are long enough and an upholstery shop can sew them.

I got a set of those drop down straps out of an old conversion van for back seats with all the hardware. Look around scrap yards for your color. I got lucky and they were real cheap.

This 3 point seat belt has sparked my interest. Most of the pictures in this post are gone, damn. My question is for the upper mount into the roof on my 67 coupe is there a captured nut behind the mounting point or do I have to put one in?
My headliner is the original installed in Nov of 1966 and I really do not want to replace it to install 3 point belts.

No captured nut but on mine. They provided a plate to install and I used some pan head Allen’s to secure them. I will see it I can dig up some pictures later tonight.

Just to verify, “technically” speaking...you have 4 anchor points?
2 original anchors, 1 on retractor, 1 roof panel
When I was reading the original part of this thread, you have to call to get the longer “c” and could anchor with retractor?

Gary, here's a shot of ours with the belt pivot on the "B" pillar. If you can come up with some belt guides on the seat shoulders you might be happy with this setup...I know we are but then, we have Fox seats.

Yes on the four anchor points. I’m not sure I follow the longer C you referred to. I’ll PM you my cell number and you can give me a call.
BB does have a nice set of seats.

Yup, they should be. Seats came from an 87 Fox Vert. Belts cobbled together from a couple of retrofit sets.

Gary, Here are the pics I could find. Wesco supplies the bolts and I had the washers. Those bolt heads were going to push against the headliner and be a visible bump. So, I swapped over to a pan head Allen. That plate has to be slide into position from farther up the roof line. Seems like I tied something to it to keep from loosing it in the channel. You might be able to pull the headliner back some to gain a working space.
