I ordered this from Deluxe Speedometer & Cable Service in Denver, CO.
I ran across Speedometer Cable USA on line last year while refurbishing the gauge cluster.
They repair/rebuild as well.
This gave me a warm fuzzy.
I wanted to add cruise control from the 92 mustang.
Last year, wasn’t sure if I wanted to convert to GPS or electric speedometer or stick with original.
After going through my gauges, cleaned and lubed, I’ll just stick with original...for now.
You can order it in any length and with any kind of ends...yes even Chebby.
My original 65 289/c4 cable was about 56-57” long.
I ordered mine 60” long...also used Rock Auto replacement showed 60”.
This works out really nice.
The new cable can now run up and over the top of the pedal support and straight into speedometer.
The cable appears to be made with quality materials.
It is flexible too compared to the 50 year original cable.
Hope this helps anyone considering a replacement cable.

Are you using the factory Ford VSS?

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....NO!
Just the plain-old-FoMoCo stock replacement.

Those are dime a dozen.
This one allows connection to stock and many aftermarket cable driven speedos to Ford’s VSS in the transmission.
GPS and Electric speedometers wouldn’t need the cable either.
Barry, it happened to be cheaper (at 60” length) and you can have it made to your specifications.
