Studs at windshield

Just out of curiousity, do they make screw in studs at the frame of the front windshield frame instead of welding or using aftermarket screws? Have a mix of studs and screws for the windshield clips.
Thanks!

Re: Studs at windshield

If you try a search there was a thread not too long ago that addressed this in detail with part numbers and suppliers.  I am pretty sure it was on the new site but if not, give the old forum a search.

Re: Studs at windshield

Guess I'm not a 100% sure of what you're asking. I had 2 studs missing and bought the after market screw that looks like a stud and they work fine. Just got my windshield installed today.

Re: Studs at windshield

Here is one of the threads - on the old forum.   I think you can also search for the clips for a 1965 windsheild as they were screwed in and in 66 they went to the welded studs.

MAW,
The stud or post is what I'm after. Where did you get them?
Thanks!
