Virtual Bash

Been testing a couple of different online meeting solutions and I've found something called "Zoom" the easiest to use. Now I am thinking that I could invite you'll to my garage this upcoming weekend. The free account I have at Zoom allows for a 40 minute meeting with 100 participants. You can connect using more or less any device, PC, smartphone, Ipad etc. that's connected to the internet. What about Saturday 11th?

Re: Virtual Bash

Cool. Btw, Zoom stock has soared since the outbreak, Go To Meeting has plummeted.

Re: Virtual Bash

Works for me Hakan. It is noon here in Seattle and it's 9:00 pm in Sweden. Should be able to work out a reasonable time. Our Mustang club has been holding virtual meetings using Webex. Haven't tried Zoom. I'll have to look into that.

Re: Virtual Bash

I'll post a link on here to the meeting and let's start Saturday, 11 April 2020 at my time 21:00 which would be 12:00 in Seattle and 14:00 in Houston.

Since I'll probably be home the time works for me!
I am now signed up for Zoom. Let the Bash begin!

Looked into that and I'll figure out a way to make it safe for us.

Re: Virtual Bash

Recent story on Zoom is that it has some serious Security flaws and may allow hackers into your computer. Not sure how deep they can get into your computer.

Re: Virtual Bash

We have been using Zoom a lot and have liked it.  I'm just now hearing about the security concerns.  I don't like that at all.
All of that to say, I'm down for a virtual bash when ever.  I'm also down for a mini bash if we can pull that off after this is all over later this year.

Ok, no problems just let’s use something else to have the meeting. I’ll be back...
