Well I know we all have know where to go and lots of time to get there so the wife and I went out for a little putt up the gorge today. Car runs good, 2650 @ 65. The new cruise control is fabuless. It told me I need to replace the brake switch with the PB one so i can disengage when lightly taping the pedal. Also i have a tight spot in the steering wheel i need to address. New wheel from CJs with 6 hole adapter, not sure if it is the horn contacts or what. We went about 150 miles and it was nice to get outside and see something other than the 4 walls of home.

Luv it when a plan comes together. You could try lowering the steering column a little for the tight spot

Always good to look out over that hood.

Ok I can do that too, It was fine with the stock wheel so that tells me something is not quite right in there.

Glad to hear it’s running well.
No pictures?
Didn’t happen😁

Yeah, for sure, get out and cruise a bit. I've been rotating vehicles the past week to try to put a little mileage on everything.

Ordered the brake switch tonight from MustangSteves. and then removed the steering wheel. Not sure if I fixed problem but the 3 screws that hold a retainer were all quite loose. Anyone have a steering shaft break down they can post? That way I can see what the retainer does.

Turn signal switch retainer.
