Re: HAPPY MUSTANG DAY!

I wish, it's only a couple of degrees above freezing with wet snow forecast for the afternoon,
I have cranked the shop furnace up to take the chill off and may spend the afternoon working on a couple of sintered bronze bushed spring perches, ala Fords original design.

I can do that!
Good thing I kept the old perches I took off 20 years ago,
It will give me an opportunity to try out my home made cyclone dust collector on my bead blast cabinet.

Re: HAPPY MUSTANG DAY!

Well I cheated and got the old pony out last Sat. for a First Responders Lock Down Cruise, around three different hospitals, couple of hundred cars and alot of happy hospital workers waving back, felt really good, even had fire and police escort. Did get to drive to nursing care facility today with giant sign to wish my mom a happy 93rd birthday today.

Nice day here but crappo coming.  So, we took Virtual Bash pix for next week.  Stay healthy everyone, and remember...no breathing or touching of ANYTHING.

Re: HAPPY MUSTANG DAY!

We just got back from a 120 mile celebration drive to Lake Whitney thru the countryside. It is misty and colder today. I stopped for gas on the way home and the AFR started showing what I thought it should the rest of the drive. It seems to be running to lean for my liking.

Re: HAPPY MUSTANG DAY!

Took the FB out this morning since its sunny and 57 here. Yesterday, I recurved the dizzy so today was shake down cruise. Went to the post office, then drove over to tractor supply. Drove good and behaved nicely. Would have gone longer but needed to get home and rebuild the privacy fence. Got 40 feet done, only 130 feet remainingng to do....

Re: HAPPY MUSTANG DAY!

Drove to Waller to visit Steve & Glen Buzek. First cruise other than just around the neighborhood for over a month. Social distancing Stang style 😷

Life is too short to drive a boring car😎

Re: HAPPY MUSTANG DAY!

We received 18" of snow this week so the path to freedom for the coupe is still blocked. Maybe next week. It actually got above freezing today!
