After several months repairing things I wasn't happy with with my 66 fastback I'm finally Happy with the car,Bought in November 2012.
Completely resealed engine,No oil coolant,or trans leaks
New Edelbrock intake 7121 ,Replaced Quick fuel 650 carb with Sumitt Racing 600 street strip(recommend this carb right out of the box with minor adjustments Performs flawless.)
Replaced Transmission Cooler lines with SS Steel pre bent lines
Replaced Radiator,with champion aluminium 3 core,new coolant hoses,thermostat,&heater core
Replaced Alternator and power steering belts.Replaced Battery,Starter and Alternator with new not rebuilt.
Replaced rear shocks with New Bilstein Hd Shocks(Thanks Mustang Steve) Now my Exhaust doesn't rattle against rear spring hangar
replaced Headman Exhaust gaskets.9thats for another topic)
Replaced Brake fluid(complete brake overhaul including 7" power brake booster and master cyl.
replacement when I have time to install the parts already purchased
For the Next few weeks I'm going to drive it like I stole it,already very happy with MPG with new carb and dialling in timing correct.Power band seems endless and No hesitation or running rich anymore.
Still got a long list of Mods Upgrades for during the winter months,getting car ready for 2014 Mustang anniversary get together's all over US and Canada.
over the last few months I've worked on Rolls Royce,Bentley,Ferarri ,and Some nice Porsche'and M series BMW,But I'm New to the muscle car Hobby,
none of the above mentioned Give me the same Buzz as I get Driving my Mustang.
I work for a major Airline 3 on 5 off Midnights ( Licenced Technician) to pay the bills
Plus I Work on some nice cars for customers I've had for many years working for various Dealerships as a Licenced Technician to pay for my projects ,cars and motorcycles this is a part time Business i keep going as i plan to continue after i retire from the Airlines in 5 or so Yrs

Glad you are happy with it now. You looked happy the day you got it and brought it home. The car looked perfect before, I wouldn't have guessed that it needed all the work you did to it. Go have some fun.
