Still Learning How to Post Pictures.

I was going to be pre ready to post yesterday, I had the pics all lined up in a story type order. When I went to post they wouldn't all load. The few of them that did took over an hour but not in the order that I had them laid out. Saying "oh well" I pushed "DONE" and they all deleted. So I had to do it again. In the next down load a sign came up saying it could not load pictures from the cloud. I've never gone to the cloud, didn't know it was accessible. So I got into it and found all my pictures that I had intended to load the day before their in the cloud. Well once there you don't get them back they are not yours anymore. So a little on line research says they are but with more berouvio than I am familiar with. So I tried to use the pics that weren't in the cloud. Pushed Done and they disappeared again. All this was on my lap top so I closed it and went to my iPad and what you see on the bash is what I was able to get and use. I've paste from my lap top before so now I need to go back and find out why it worked ok. You can prevent your pics from going to the cloud but I am not sure how to get them back. That is something I will work on in the future when I'm not so frustrated.

Re: Still Learning How to Post Pictures.

I can feel your pain about computer things, as our desk top can consume pics that can't be found, but will show up weeks later as the screen savers. So I quit wasting time on things that waste my time. Yesterday I finish up on the rotted out rear of the 98 Gt after 2 wks. of cutting out and making/welding in custom sheet metal & rails , on a worthless DD driver. The paint was my best work ever.
So it's time for some Keystone Lite in celebration

Re: Still Learning How to Post Pictures.

I did a test picture last Thurs. just hit upload and took pictures off my computer, Then Sat did same thing, it would only get to 35% or 37& after 15 to 20 min. must have a large traffic jamb, so I tried again Sun. same thing. This morning now I just posted two pictures and it worked fine, must have been a virtual virus, there seems to be alot of that going around now days.

Re: Still Learning How to Post Pictures.

I opened an "IgmBB" account.  First upload the picture to the IgmBB site.  Then Open IgmBB, click on image to transfer, click copy, go to MS post (or reply), click on the picture icon provided in the header, click paste in the space provided; uploaded picture will appear in the post.
Works for me.

Note that I was also able to upload my avatar.

Re: Still Learning How to Post Pictures.

I e-mailed my pictures to my  G-mail account..........opened them and hit the download icon in the upper right corner....Go to your download file and copy & paste them to you picture file. From there go to MS board and go to 'post reply'.....read the disclaimer stuff(2 places) and send it to the board. Must hit submit for it to be posted on board.
