Although it's just for the month of October or a bit more, I am certainly going to have Mustang withdrawal syndrome. My F150 will be my daily driver there.
I plan on checking out the big Mustang show at Broadway on the Beach on Oct 8th.
Just wondering what other events worth while seeing in that area from Oct. 1st to the middle of November.
Maybe I should trailer the 68 down there and collect the long distance award! ;)

I took my first trip to Myrtle Beach last weekend. It is pretty nice there. Stayed on the North Myrtle Beach area. Went into central myrtle beach area and Rode the Skyline with the kids. Beach is nice, not a long distance between the street and the ocean like NJ beaches, and no horseflies that keep biting you. It also didnt have tons of seashells tearing up your feet on the beach and in the ocean. Will definitely go back there next year for a longer stay. It doesnt have long boardwalks like Wildwood NJ or AC NJ but it was refreshing to avoid all the crowds, and all the annoying hawking vendors all selling the same stuff. But my kids missed all the amusement rides that we usually have on the piers of the wildwood NJ boardwalk. But if i had more time, i wanted to go to the nascar place and drive a real nascar around the track there. Also have a nascar waterpark that looked cool too. They had glow in the dark Zip lining and helicopter rides. Looking forward to doing more there the next time. Also Looking forward to making a trip to Charleston next. SC is really nice and I regret not moving down here sooner.

Nobody is going to get any long distance awards with anything on a trailer!
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
