Pushrods.. where can I find them?

the length is coming out to be 6.272" I guess a 6.300 will work too .. .but where do I buy them NOT for 150 bucks!!!!!!! ?

Ford used to make a part number 6565-L-302 which were exactly what I needed.. and they were 40 bucks .. but they are out of stock EVERYWHERE!! I ordered from one shop that said they had them, but they were OOS too.

suggestions ?

DONT need hardened pushrods...

347 build.. full roller motor.

Re: Pushrods.. where can I find them?

Your heads/rockers don't require guide plates?  I believe guide plates will need hardened push rods.

no they dont... Edelbrock 60399 heads with pedastals and Scorpion Rockers. The rockers use a sheet metal peice to align / lock with each other, but nothing for pushrods.

Re: Pushrods.. where can I find them?

That part number is a stock 5.0 HO pushrod.  They are listed as 6.250" long.

If you don't mind used I have a set of them I'll send you if you pay for shipping.  They came from a good running engine.  Could use a good cleaning, but otherwise in perfect order.

Re: Pushrods.. where can I find them?

Pushrod length depends upon how you measure them. Since the pushrod is hollow the ball on each end is not a complete ball. You measure either the actual length (the flattened ends) or the effective length (as if the ball were complete).
