At light throttle as it shifts into second it has a very sutal slip. And the fluid is very foamy. tranny is new less tan 500 miles and I have the correct synthetic fluid Amsoil Super Shift made for the older transmissions.
It seams to be full and has no leaks

yes it is going in tommarow. could be as simple as a losse filter to something horrible. I will have to pay the R&R likely because I installed it the first time but he is a very reputable shop so Im not worried. Just planing another trip.
Like Bullit Bob we would not of made it the full trip to SC and back

What dipstick tube are ya using?
Perhaps markings might not be in correct location?
Just a thought
When I installed a TCI C4 transmission in 2009, I used a Hughes locking dipstick, Mine is a case fill.
Hughes Performance HP5235 - Hughes Performance Locking Trans Dipstick
They also make a pan fill if needed.
HP5235P

If you are certain that you have the correct amount of fluid then a loose filter could be allowing it to suck air. Most times though, foaming transmission fluid is caused by overfilling.

Not likely overfilled, we were talking and we may have lost the pump because NOT running I pulled both hoses off the rad last night and got no fluid, just a drip drip. I know you get more cause I have had the rad out 4 times

Sorry about that, Chris. Looks like be both got the "curse of the Bash that wasn't"

OK my car called and said come pick me up I am scared here with these chevys and imports. They called and I got my car back. I have to wait tell the owner gets back to get a full detil but what they said today was that they ran a presure test, a flow test, a vacuum test, they pulled the pan and re ajusted the bands. They also said I should be driving in the green dot and I always drove in the black dot (first click from neutral. he didnt have much to say about the foam. Said there cheif rebuilder tested it and said it is good to go there is nothing wrong. I will talk to the owner next week. I trust them as I have two 700Rs from them with no problems.
