Nice wheel Steve and exceptional price!
What size tire profile fits this best?

I have 16x7''S on mine with 4.25BS. They barely fit with my Wilwood 12.19" rotors. About 1/16" on the inside and about 1/2" on the fender side. With 17"s there should be no problem with inside fitment, but one must check their own vehicle for fender clearance. And I run 215-50x16's in the front.
Great price though. New steel wheels are close to that cost.

225x45front
235x45 rear should fit with no issues
I have 245x45/17 on rear of my 66 with 8” wheel, but custom width rear end.
Works out to equivalent of a 17x8 wheel with 5.25” backspacing for perfect fit.

Hey Coupedaddy, if Richard with A1 Wheel Straightening is still in business, he might be able to take care of your wheels. He’s fixed 4 of my wheels from different cars over the years. He does great work at a reasonable price. I wish I had some before and after photos.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
