Has anyone ever measured the ride height without shocks installed ???
a idea I thought of when checking for worn out leaf springs ??? and making decisions on new one's
Measured from axle hub center to bottom quarter panel fender lip ..
Dose anyone have measurements like this

My ride height measured as you say is 13". I have std 4-leaf springs with reversed eyes. And shocks do not affect ride height unless they are ones with springs surrounding them. I use Mustangs Plus for most of my parts including springs.
Look at the ride height page for other cars and what they are like. Mine is the yellow one towards the end.

Also, don't use ride height adjusting shocks on these cars. You will tear/break the upper shock mounts. Those mounts are not designed to carry the vehicles weight.
I have 4 leaf springs too. Decent ride, but with only mild upgrades to the engine and a swap to a manual trans I definitely have wheel hop when I take off right on the edge of traction. I've heard that a 4.5 or 5 leaf doesn't have this problem, or at least its considerably less. Eventually I'll either swap springs or go to traction bars.

I use the shelby traction bars. Eliminated wheel hop completely and spins straighter.
