How's the Mustang re-do coming along?!
Since we didn't do-the-bash this year (Thanks a lot Joe Bidden! ) I didn't get a look at it!
Why not post a few pics for the crew?!!!

The rebuild has halted due to all of my health issues. I'm hoping to get started back on it next month after I get out of the hospital. I'll have more time since all of my testing will be over by the end of this month. It's current condition is the front driver fender apron is "being replaced". I'll also probably replace the rear driver fender apron. MS rebuilt my control arms so they're ready to go. I've just got to finish replacing those fender aprons, cleaning up the engine bay, and then I can assemble the engine (which I have all the parts for), and get the T5 World Class from the Buzeks. I can start on the rest of the car then. I'll try to get some pictures today and post them!

Radiator support looks pretty rough. Can you make it look better with a hammer and dolly? When you start back working on it.

Yep, I'm planning on straightening that out. I thought about replacing the whole radiator support, but it's just that upper portion that needs attention. Since y'all are encouraging me, I'll probably do some stuff Friday or this weekend. Running a small business and running a family of six tends to take a lot of you!

I recommend a new dynacorn core support. Money well spent. And your are 75% of the way removed anyway.

Yep six. Four kids and Mel and I. It's a circus sometimes . . . ok, most of the time. The youngest two are a year and a half and a seven month old.
As far as the radiator core support, I have gone back and forth. I'm sure I'll change my mind again and go with a new one before I tie up the front end.

That's odd, I NEVER do that. 🤣

Just keep chipping away at it Mike. You will get there. Wife and kids are more important
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
