Bitter sweet day for me. Lost my dad on March 25th and thanks to covid and the Queen of Michigan, no gatherings were allowed so, still no funeral. One sweet memory was dad helping me diagnos a problem with my engine rebuild....just wished he could have been around to ride along with me in the FB. So this first fathers day without him is kinda tough.

Happy Father's Day to all you muthas out there. Josh, at least four me it doesn't get a whole lot easier with time. My dad was also a wealth of mechanical knowledge and plain ol horse sense. Good day to all.

In a couple more days my Dad will have been gone for 21 years. This year marks the midway point in my life. From this point forward I'll have lived longer without my Dad than I did with him. For a long time it seemed like yesterday, but anymore it seems like a really long time ago. June is always a rollercoaster month for me. Dad's birthday was at the beginning (also my brother and sister-in-law's anniversary), my wife's birthday is shortly thereafter, then my Mom's birthday (also my wedding anniversary), the anniversary of my Dad's passing, and finally my youngest's birthday. No matter how long he's been gone he's still the standard I try to live up to in terms of being a father and a man.

There have many “dads” in my life.
I learned something from each of them.
I miss them all.
There are more “dads” that I have found here the past several years.
Happy Father’s Day!

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
