...EDIT notification on posts? I often go right back in to correct or add something. I think it is immaterial if someone edits their post for whatever reason.

Boom, just click the SILENT EDIT box when you edit a post. Then no one will know you screwed up and had a do-over.

Don't mean to be obtuse, MS, but I do not see a 'SILENT EDIT' box, either on the post itself, or after you hit EDIT and bring up the dialogue box for alteration.
What I did see and I really like, is a DELETE button. I do not know why more forums do not allow this. Unless I am trying to destroy posted breaches of National Defense data that could be used to convict me for treason, I think a poster should be allowed to delete his statements. Sometimes one posts things in error OR regrets that he wrote it so I think it is good to have this cabability.

There is no option to remove it. MS and I can "silent edit" but for everyone else edit notification is part of the forum package. Sorry

Thanx!
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
