    Rubbing compund

    Is this the right stuff to cut and buff? A friend of mine had these at his house,never used them,and have them to me. Looks like this is the stuff to use

    Yes.  Be sure do notuse the same pad to put the final glaze on it.  You might also need some swirl remover to finish up.

    Keep your buffing pad AWAY from any body lines or projections.  Put masking tape over those areas.

    Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

    also start in a place that is not seen much so that if there is a problem it can be hidden.  I have herd of guys starting in the middle of the hood and then when it didn't work right they had this huge blemish right where they had to look at it all the time.
