I’ve been using an APP (I phone) several years now and is quite useful.
This is how I have used it:
Flashlight with variable intensity
Magnifying glass with variable zoom
Camera with or without light on
Best part, you can turn on light to view in dark place, magnify, and then take a picture.
Also blindly take a pictures where you can’t even get your head or sometimes hand into.
I use it a lot at work and home...darn old age.
Sometimes I wish I could change location of camera button due to location of light to get into tight spaces.

I too have found it a very useful app.

I had a genius idea for an app some years ago. It would turn the phone into a looking glass with your eyeglass prescription. A buddy of mine who is super tech savy and I looked into it, but unfortunately the technology isn't there yet. The current screens are flat and can't be set up to act curved. I was heartened that a group at MIT is working on a screen that would allow you to do that. Oh well, so much for my get rich quick scheme...

Try using the camera's timer to take pictures in tight spaces where you have difficulty getting you finger on the button.

I've found taking a video of the area I'm inspecting, then using screenshots from the video helpful. My pics only in difficult areas rarely results in useful pics.

I've used it to find p/n and s/n's to look behind the instrument panel in the movie mode on several airplanes. Don't have to remove instruments anymore to get needed info. Also used it to trace wires under the instrument panel on the Mustang for the cruise control.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
