Hi all, as per usual order a part and something is not right.......when I compare the units the NEW SPECTRA (which is the only one I can get locally) has more bends and Arches than the original, which obviously doesnt fit......
it is roughly 1-1.5" longer.......the original has 1 90deg bend.......
My supplier can order a 69 which has just 1 STRAIGHT BEND, but part numbers are different from 68 to 69....
any one KNOW if they are the dame, will it fit? is the resistances different for the gauges???

This is the way they were designed originally:
65-68 uses same sender for 16 gallon tank
69 is unique for 20 gallon tank
70 is unique for 22 gallon tank
I would order one from NPD
If you install a larger 1970 22 gallon tank in an earlier car, use the 1970 sender.

68 tank is 16 gal. 69 tank is 20 gal.
