Ford 302 serpentine belt routing.

Hey, looking for a clean solution for serpentine belt routing.  Accessories are Alternator and reverse rotation water pump.  Years ago I bought the bullies, and alternator bracket with tensions with SMOG pump delete kit from Blue oval industries way back when.  Just getting ready to install it, but can't find any instructions.  I remember looking at this forum years ago and bought something that was similar to what someone had done on this forum.  Any pics or ideas are welcome.

Re: Ford 302 serpentine belt routing.

What brackets are you using?  Fox Mustang stuff?

Re: Ford 302 serpentine belt routing.

Suggest checking out "Late Model Restoration" website, they have several schematics of belt routing ...

Re: Ford 302 serpentine belt routing.

If you're using the brackets from the 93 T-bird, they are the same as 94-95 mustang.
To use the reverse rotation water pump, you'll need a 94-95 P/S eliminator pulley. Or a 6 rib idler pulley. No need for the Smog eliminator pulley, just use a shorter belt.
Edit, I don't think a 94-95 P/S eliminator pulley is made.

Re: Ford 302 serpentine belt routing.

Steve69, in your engine bay picture, what are you using for the upper radiator hose? I can't recall what hose I used but mine comes across the front of the alternator. Thanks

I have a 5.0 foxbody radiator and upper hose.

Re: Ford 302 serpentine belt routing.

The setup pictured is from an  89 Lincoln Mark VII.  Other than some minor bracket and pulley size differences is same as foxbody.

Belt size chart is foxbody.  Same stuff, basically.
