Re: Shocking

I don’t have them Rudi.

However, this past winter I installed ViKing dual adjustable coil overs with 350# springs for small block applications and I like them.
I got the poly bushing setup via CPP, was cheaper and for my use is perfectly satisfactory.
I still have them on the softer settings for now.
I can drive across washboard paved and dirt roads without loosing fillings.
May eventually upgrade the rear shocks to Vikings as well.

I had 620 springs from Mustangs Plus with KYB’s Gas a Just on all four corners.
Too stiff for cruddy roads around here in Michigan.

Viking also has shocks as well for the front if you already have upgrades on front end.
I didn’t, therefore I figured I’d try the coil overs.

Re: Shocking

Thanks, I have heard of Vikings but most of the chatter is Bilstein, Bilstein, Bilstein.

I agree with Sal. I’ve had Monroe’s on every old car I’ve ever owned. If you’re not autocrossin or road racing what more do you need?

Re: Shocking

Currently using KYB GR2 and experiencing a bit of rebound rear wheel hop on big bumps, other than that happy with them.
I’m trying to justify 500 bucks for the  big name shocks.

So you're saying we have something in common?

LOL Bob, our significant others might be the best judge of that!

I think a lot of us have that in common.
