A coworker has a 69 mustang.
It originally came with 6 cyl and four lugs and drum brakes.
I don’t recall if he is converting to v8.
He wants to convert to 5 lugs and Cobra disc conversion.
Does he just need the hubs and appropriate bearings for his spindles?
69 drums spindles all the same? ( 6 cyl or 8 cyl)

Hubs and A12 & A13 bearings, by I've slept since then. Hopefully MS will confirm.

Yes, that is correct on the hubs.
Just need the five lug hubs. Bearings on a 69 should be A2 and A6, though.
Bearings did not change to A12 and A13 until 70, except on Boss302 and Boss429.
Unless he has the ultra rare six cylinder Boss302 version.

Hey Bob...wrong bearings? That might 'splain something......maybe.

You would have to tighten those A12 bearings pretty darn tight on those 69 hubs
No, wait... everybody gets their nickname for a reason...

Thanks for the entertaining answers.
Just didn’t want to pass along incorrect information.
I just can’t wait to help him spend his money.😂
I know he’s been doing his own research as well.

Sorry, I missed the "It originally came with 6 cyl and four lugs and drum brakes." part. I was thinking of disc brake spindles like I once used.

Bearing size info remains same on six or v8 in 1969, as stated. You probably used 70 or some other disc brake spindles and A12/A13 bearings on a 69.?

Yikes, maybe I should've stayed out of this conversation I do currently have 70 spindles, so...
