i know this is not car related but didnt know how many of you are watching the fires we have in oregon. two of them have put my daughters home into level 1 and is 3 miles from being a level 2. We are buried in smoke so bad that it has made it into the garage and you can only see about 6-8 hundred feet. Daytime looks like night fall and you can stare at the orange sun.

Stay safe and careful with smoke.
Never know what might be burning to emit toxic gases.

I'm worried about my son who lives in SE Gresham. He is the operations manager for Surface Nursery which is about 7 miles north of the smaller fires near Eagle Creek and about 20 miles north of the big Riverside fire. The forecast is for rain next week, but that is four days away. Praying that the fires can be contained.

Its something I never give a second thought to in DE, even though I live in the middle of the woods. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my FYI brothers and sisters living in and around these dangerous areas. Stay safe and be cautious.

Living in gresham he is safe, eagle I think has fully been evacuated now. From my perspective as I live in Portland/gresham and have been in Milwaukee everyday this week the smoke has receded a little today I think.

Now all the smoke from California, and Oregon and several fires in Washington have converged on Seattle - where the air quality is rated today as the worst in the world. Hope this passes soon. Supposed to do a cruise with my 68 tomorrow afternoon but will have to see if they call it off due to the smoke.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
