Events, Rallys, Meetups, Cruises?

1966 Mustang Coupe, 5.0 Swap, T5z

I know quite a few of the members on this forum are from the North Texas area like myself so I thought I'd extend an olive branch.  Now that pony is riding again I plan to make up for the last 5 years of missed summers while the car was in one restoration project after another.  If anyone wants to just meet for a cup of coffee or a mini rally by all means let me know.

Hey MS maybe we can setup a tab on the forum for regional contacts?  There are at least 2 other classic mustangs in just my neighborhood I've been meaning to drop in on.  I kind of feel like in the current climate cars are something that people can rally around.  Car meetups and car clubs used to be a big thing and then died down.  Even Cars and Coffee hasn't had an event here in Dallas in close to a year (well before covid).

I looked the local Mustang Group in North Texas and there is a rally tomorrow (Saturday) I might attend.

Also here in Dallas, Kellers on NW Highway always attracts a crowd of cars on the weekends.  If you're interested in meeting up or know of any other routine events send me a message.  I can compile a email list.

Cheers

Re: Events, Rallys, Meetups, Cruises?

You may be disappointed in NTMC stuff.  When I lived there, it was rare to see ANY early cars there among all the late models with every kind of sticker or underhood gaudiness they could find.

Hopefully that has changed back to the classics.

If you can stand a little road trip, we might have a mini bash coming up.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
