Are they worth the price? I wonder if the LED back-up lights actually throw some light out the rear. The stock ones might be good for letting someone behind you know that you are backing up, but as the driver, they throw no light on anything in your rear.
CJ Pony has a complete (except for LED flasher) LED light kit which includes front parking, tail lamp and back-up lights. It's not cheap but if the back-up lights were a significant improvement, it might be worth it.

Boom, check this place. I have used some of their bulbs in my car and their prices are pretty good

Thanks Terry. I'll save that link but the CJ Pony LED sets are complete fixture replacements with whole bunches of LEDs on each fixture. Not just a single bulb replacement.

Dave, I assume your last picture is a 'before' picture for the backup lights? If so, that is quite a contrast. Do they actually throw enough light that you can see where you are backing?
Also, on the tail lights, it appears that you can see the LED cards behind the lenses? I think stock lights have a bit more of an even glow across the red lense? Maybe it is just the picture?

Yes the camera picked up the LED Lights, you can't see the LED light behind the lenses and the last pic was stock back lights.
They are better for backing up then the stock ones, I think.

Good to know on the pixelation of the tail lights in your picture. Maybe you can activate your backups in the dark and let me know if they throw a fair amount of light out the back. You could do it right in the garage without moving the car. Most factory backup lights are pretty worthless for rear viewing. It would be nice, especially for the price, if these were a bit more effective.
Did you do the front parking/turn lights as well? Also I assume you had to get their LED flasher unit. Was that a plug and play switchout?.
