It really depends which Flows you have. I have 50 series Flowmasters on my GTO and they are very deep and throaty at idle and I have no drone on highway. When you get into 40 series, that’s when it gets a little confusing. I have 40 Deltas on the 65, I drove to FL, and it was a little loud at 65mph, but I was also doing 3000 rpm. (C4 Trans). The mufflers I got from John were intended for a louder application, which I still haven’t installed yet.

I used to have 2-1/2” flowmaster 50’s on my 66. They had a great sound just driving around, and were very quiet on the highway cruising at 2,000 to 2,200 rpm. Zero drone.
They are a great alternative. I just did not like the look or the extra heavy weight.
