"Back-in-the-day".......I had...geography (state, US,world)...history (state, US, world) butt still have a VERY important question.......
Where is the country of Earl..... and who is that Duke they we ALL usta sing about?!!
If I remember correctly this guy was talking about "walking thru his Duke-dumb" too.
How is THAT possible??........I mean you can't walk thru my 'Sally-dumb' soooooooooo??.......
(unless you make a reservation, of course!)
Duke-Duke-Duke-of-Earl......
Dumb-du-du-dumb-du-du-dumb-dumb-dumb & then wooooo-woooo-woo-woooooo-wooooo-woo & then IIIIII-IIIIIIIII-IIIIIIII-IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIahIIIIIIII -yiiii-yiii!.......interesting!
I did notice it DID tend to make.......young girls pants-fall-off.............
which at-the-time was a good thang, I guess.
One last question (to keep it Mustang related..) butt HOW were two teenagers able to lay down in the back seat(of a Mustang coupe) remove most of their clothing....and do full physical exams of each other...then get totally dressed....wipe the fog from the rear windows....climb BACK into the front bucket seats....smoke a cigarette...and watch the rest of a drive-in movie!!?!
Today......I thought I was going to hafta call 911 to get my over-sized corpulent .....self ...out of the backseat thru the wide open door!!
Anywho.....maybe these will always be......un-answerable(is that a word?! questions.

When one is young and slender, anything is possible. Ask me how I know.

These questions fall into the same category as the one I’ve asked for years, “ what is styrofoam packed in for shipping?”.

I can vividly remember seeing “paradise by the dashboard light”.
My 1949 Pontiac had a bench front seat, crawling into the back was wasting precious time.

Oh Mikie...your work is difficult to read when the laughter brings tears to my old eyeballs.

Mike you got waaaaaay to much time on your hands to think about stuff like this. These type of post seem to have gone up since you finished your stang. Retired, car done I figure your wife got to be looking for something for you to do. Maybe you need another project.Just saying.
Still funny though!

Made me think of my uncle. That was his favorite song. We walked out of his funeral to it. It fit his personality perfectly.
Whatever is yours ultimately is your Sallydom. Every day I survey what is mine and think, on one had its good, on the other there are still more worlds to conquer...

Made me think of giving my brother a hard time in 1965 after I washed and waxed his 65 Mustang. I asked him why there were toe prints on the inside of the rear glass. Bad thing was that I didn't see Mom around the corner in the kitchen. I was 16 in 65 and took my drivers test in that car.

The back seat of a 55 Chevy Bel-Air is almost as big as a single bed - or so I've heard....

In that regard its pretty hard to beat a Chevy or GMC Suburban. We had several of those growing up. They were best without the 3rd row seat.
