Wait a minute, wait a minute...
The rules said cylinders in which combustion occurs. Infernal combustion. Hydraulic cylinders do not have any combustion going on nor do air compressors...I mean really? Guys. This is serious!

I also call foul on the compressors. They are not internal combustion cylinders, unless powered by one.
You guys must be bored out of your gourds, but I am glad to see some lively activity on the forum.

Guilty as charged. I saw cylinder count and passed over the internal combustion part.😳😳

Hey...I did include pistols and revolvers and nobody sniveled so it must be okay...Right? And besides, Richard said it was okay.

Hmn, I'll agree with the revolvers, but other firearms I think we need a judge's ruling. I suppose they do contain a chamber in which combustion occurs, though not technically referenced as a cylinder. Some do contain pistons, though not in the chamber.

I stopped thinking about it at 69... But does having a piston as a paperweight count for anything? Or does it have to be in a cylinder to count? Either way, I need to thin the herd.

Here's the thing I've never understood: what's the problem with a dumpster fire? Its a fire in a metal container that will keep it from spreading. Basically the fire will just burn until it burns itself out, and so long as its not near anything important no harm no foul. Like a lot of words, made up words, etc. I think the "journalists" are simply misusing the term. Its like saying the area was decimated by fire. Well, decimated means a reduction by 10%, so that's not really so bad. What they mean to say is annihilated. I think when they reference a dumpster fire they really mean a wildfire. That makes sense, a fire that is hard to put out and is a danger to everything around it ultimately capable of destroying everything. Ultimately who cares about burning garbage? I wish my favorite sports team would become a dumpster fire. When the fire is out all the garbage would be gone. That's a good thing in my book...

Really more a comment on how "journalists" don't even have a proper grasp of the English language, let alone journalism. The next person I hear use the word "impacted" as a past tense of the verb "impact" I think I'm going to lose it.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
