I'm looking for some options for ford 3g alternator wiring upgrades for a 1965 Mustang 289 coupe. I was looking for options other than PA performance.

Have you already gotten your 3G alternator and are you only looking for a harness?

Yes i already have my 3g alternator just looking for other kits out there for wiring.

You don't need a kit to install a 3G, just a wiring diagram and they are all over the web. The only thing the PA kit does is to retain the "factory look". If you're not concerned about looks yank the external regulator and throw it in the trash. The diagrams so show you how to connect the factory '65 wires to the 3G.

Alright just curious I'd like to find a 3g wiring connector also that maybe I could repin so I don't have to splice. Probably not though since Ive only been able to find molded connectors.

I am using a 2001 V6 Mustang factory wiring harness.
It has fuseable links built into it.
It’s long enough to reach the start solenoid.
I have 3G in Foxbody accessory bracket.
