FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Holley's Terminator X MPFI for Ford » 6/06/2020 3:29 PM |
There are three advantages I see for the Holley Terminator X compared to the OEM EECIV:
1. The Terminator X can handle boost out of the box if you want to upgrade from NA.
2. The Terminator X system can be used on engines other than a V8, such as a 6cyl or 4cyl, just change the parameters in the ECU.
3. Ford didn't make an EFI system for my inliine 6, but the Terminator X can be used on it (see 2 above).

Thanks guys for the info .
Everything on the front end is new . Shocks, springs , control arms , tire rod ends , ball joints and 5 lug swap .I think I need to find a good front end shop.
When you replaced the upper control arms, did you reinstall the shims from the original?
If not, that's your problem. Current realignment shops no nothing about upper control arm shims.

Perfect those inserts and you might just make a small fortune selling them! Maybe Im getting old, but I remember going to a swap meet back in the 90's and a guy had a whole pile of 4100's for 5 to 10 dollars apiece. Nobody wanted them. Pony carbs did for Autolites what Barrett Jackson did for classic cars.
Question from the auction:
Q: I'm interested in the C5OF-J carb but think there is a mistake in the price. I presume it was meant to be listed at $999.95 rather than almost $10,000. If the price is $999.95 please let me know as I would like to buy the carb. Thanks
A: Hi, Thank you for Your Question, Their is Honestly No Mistake, the Cost of the Carburetor is indeed $9,999.95. I am Open to Offers, however as of Now, the Price you see is the Price We are Selling this Carburetor for. Dan P.s. We are Always getting in Ford Carburetors, is their any Other Carburetor you were Looking for?

FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » 65 mustang spindle question » 3/22/2016 12:12 PM |
Check the hubs on the front of your Mustang. If they look like they haven't been redrilled from 4-lug to 5-lug, you have V8 spindles.
V8 hubs won't fit on 6cyl spindles, and vice versa.
More than likely, the PO switched over to V8 spindles/hubs.
You're better off with the V8 pieces; the 6cyl spindles are weaker and could fail with more weight on the front (V8).

The 200 engine has a high mount starter, whereas the 250 has a low mount starter (similar to the SBF).
The 250 headpipe may interfere with the starter on the 200.

Hope this helps.

I agree with TimC, you would make more money selling it to someone in the Midwest or Northeast (rustbelt)
If you could get it up to Columbus, OH for the All Ford Swap Meet April 2-3, 2016, it should sell.
