Hi Darrell, I have a new front sump oil pan, a new timing cover,a fuel pump excentric , you didn't say if you were converting from a 6 cylinder car to a V8. If you are I have the V8 throttle linkage and I also have V8 motor mount brackets and motor mounts if you need them. Dave

FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Disc brakes swap problem » 6/07/2015 10:32 PM |
Hi, If those spindles don't fit the ball joint on your lower control arms then there is a good chance you have Lincoln Versei then you will need lower ball joint bushings from mustang steve. You may not know it,all the susspension components on 67 mustangs are all the same as a V8,except the brake drumb ,they have 4 lugs where the V8 have 5lugs. If you wanted to mustang steve big brake kit will bolt to your existing spindles. Dave
FYI Ford, Classic Mustang Tech Discussion » Pertronix distributor gear. Cast or steel? » 6/05/2015 9:51 PM |
Hi Guys, I have done a couple of 5.0 conversions and I used a destributer gear made by Mallory Ignition. They are sold by summit racing, and they sell for around $39. Keep in mind that there are 2 different destributor shafts. The first one is 467 thousands and the part # MAA 29418 PD The 2nd one is 531 thousands and the part# MAA29421 PD (the PD stands for pre drilled) If you want to drill your own gear drop PD from the number. These are the least expensive steel destributor gears I have found for Ford roller motors. Dave
