Thanks Sal, really cool thread.

What I find cool about the old photos is it all seamed like it was something everyone could do and life was simple. Now everything feels so far out of reach and far more complicated. Maybe I'm just getting old. lol

No RTM, its not that we're getting old. Things used to be simpler. Growing up we had 6 channels on TV, maybe 7 if everything was just right. Now there are hundreds but the quality of most of it is worse. TV was always color for me, but there were still some B&Ws kicking around.
We went from a computer being a thing of fascination that took up a room to a computer in every house, to half a dozen computers in every house.
We've gone from talking to people on the phone in the house anchored by a cord to everyone having a portable device that allows, talking and access to the internet, with hundreds of times the memory and capabilities of my first PC.
Everything has become right at our fingertips, and thus there has been a monumental increase in efficiency, but also the demands on our time have grown considerably. I don't consider myself old, apparently I'm still young enough to be playing in the NFL (I lack only the talent). A lot has changed in a fairly short period of time.

REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
