I recently received a Mustang branded cologne as a gift. It is now a favorite of mine. Has anyone else tried it?

I have that scent naturally. Kind of a mix of partially unburned gas, dirty motor oil, burning tires and rusty, wet steel.

I got one for Christmas. I thought I posted a picture of it on the Christmas thread.

Does it make your eyes burn?
Like a Mustang running rich in the garage in subzero temperature outside?
If so my wife wouldn’t like it. LOL

The listing for the cologne says:
“Notes consist of lemon, cypress, bergamot, lavender, geraniums, basil, clove leaf, patchouli, musk, pine, artemisia, cardamom, mint, cedar leaf, sandalwood, clary sage, and black pepper.”
There’s a heck of a lot of olfactory action with this cologne! It sorta sounds like Tubo has put his Stang in the ditch again and he’s been rolling around on the ground underneath to see what’s damaged. Yeah, THAT smell.
MSteve already has nailed the “Musk” and “black pepper”
Wrap me in that at my funeral.

“Ingredients “ makes me think tree hugger hippie with a garden.
Any non-essential oils used?
Allergic to some of them.
Brings on migraines.

I think I have an old can from the same thing some where in the house.

Any of the general type Mustang smells, unburnt gas, exhaust fume, motor oil, or the stronger ones like transmission fluid or power steering fluid are.just fine by me. But if it's gonna smell like limited slip additive, ( eau de skunk) leave me out of it.

Funny story ... in high school I worked at an auto parts store and had gotten some limited slip fluid on my clothes. Going home after work on a bus, a girl sat down next to me, within about 10 seconds she moved her seat. Guess she didn't like my "cologne"!
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
