Mike I wish I could give a pic.  I have 3  10'x10' doors on the main garage. Standard down the middle on the ceiling mounted 1/2 hp Chamberlain with a 2' slide rail extension to make it 10'. 12' ceiling and I'm short, so the opener is never in the way

Re: All you 4 post lift guys.............(read this!)

Hasn't been an issue with a 14'4" ceiling height

Not sure what you're looking for.  My shop has 10' walls and the angled door tracks follow the slope of the fastback.  I'm 6/2 and can walk under the ramps at height.

This is not the best pic, but it's the only one I have right now. The tracks hug the ceiling and I have a LiftMaster side mount opener, I think it is the 3800.

You're exactly right.  I spec'd a 4/12 pitch for this very reason

Re: All you 4 post lift guys.............(read this!)

Ok here are my pics of last summers remod when I raised the roof 15" at the 8'-6" plate line for my lift. I went from trusses to a hand frame.  I reached out to DDM and told them what I had and was doing, they set me up with the correct springs, cables, hi lift drums, and the needed hardware. You cut off the needed straigh track from your ends and modify the 90 deg radius to fit your pitch.  Door works great. I am using my standard opener that some said would not work. You can lift the door by hand and it will stay where you let go. My lift is a extra tall Atlas 8K that way I could walk around under it and not smack my noggin.

I have a 16' x 7' metal insulated door

Sal,
Here are some pics of my door hardware.  Standard 7X16 garage door with 11' ceiling.  This is an attached garage, not a Garaj mahal, like some folks possess.  The high lift tracks were purchased form the link that Chris posted.  VERY reputable guy, 1 town west of me.

Sorry Sal... I tried to post a couple more, but gave up.  If you wanna see them, pm me your cell number, and I'll text them to you.  1/2 hp opener is mounted very close to the ceiling

Chamberlain Liftmaster 8500 shaft mounted opener.  Silent operation and nothing goes above the car.  Super easy to mount.

I have 12’ ceiling in the new shop with extra high lift.  4” clearance with Mustang at full height.  6’-8” clear under the lift runways with lift at max height.

I have five of these things.  They are great. Worth buying just because they are silent.

Mine is a 16' wide X 7' tall.  I only raise the car up about 4" and then I role around underneeth on a seat with wheels. No high lift door required.

Daze, do you have to push that release lever UP to release the locks?  Both my lifts were set up where you pull it down as you lower the lift.  What does everyone else’s have?

Re: All you 4 post lift guys.............(read this!)

No overhead door,  used barn doors to maximize overhead space and since the shop is not used for daily garage space.   3/12 scissor trusses on 10 foot walls give plenty of room to put the Mustang all the way up...6 foot, 9 inches.   Way too high to work on it but perfect for using the area underneath.

Yeah, it was because Backyard Buddy had this option that I chose their lift. It appears they no longer offer it as they probably didn't sell a lot of them. That and the fact that Advantage Lifts has acquired Backyard Buddy may have something to do with it. It's handy for pulling engines, lifting bodies off of full frame vehicles etc.

Whoa Alessandro, is that a “v” Max I see back there. Cool, I had a Venture with same engine.
It must be a dilemma picking what to head out with, bike or Mustang.
