This was the original Bash T-shirt, hand printed by Mr Secretary. It included the screen names of all the folks registered on the forum at the time. What a piece of history!

One of these years I plan on attending.

And I still have that shirt too! Some day when I can make it to another Bash, I will wear it!

I wonder what happened to my name. I joined the forum in 2002 and remember the likes of Arjan, Bo Lasquis, Mustsed, Ultrastang, Mr Tim, 6sal6 and BILLY WALTON....
Mustang Steve helped talk me into buying my car and through this forum, we worked out that it was a D Code. Good memories.

My first username is on that shirt.
Even back then, I wanted to get to a Bash. Finally got to Jerry and Lori's in Franklin TN ... and had a great time!
We try to go whenever we can now.

I was too young to drive or something like that and did not make it to the first Bash. Oh, now I remember, I didn't know about it. My first Bash was to Illinois hosted by Terry Robbins, who was an excellent Host. I drive part of the way with my car making a noise. Turns out it was the speedometer cable flopping around under the dash. It wasn't connected to the gauge, sorta sounded like a lifter noise. I have only missed one Bash since Illinois which I regret.

Rudy may have been there but as spotty as my memory is this Rudi was not.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
