Progress on the 66 Vert today

Pulled the full floor off of the framing jig. Framing jig needed a little welding work on it, plus I wanted to flip the floor over and undercoat the bottom. First I seam sealed everything then painted the insides of all of the frame rails and used Eastwood Extreme Chassis black on the bottom. After a second undercoat, let rest for two days then flip it over, install on the framing jig and start building a car from pretty much scratch. I only received one of my rear quarter panels, the other is delayed until June. But I have a temp quarter panel I can use to get all of the measurements  down for building the rear end. Cleco everything into place. Measure measure measure. Measure once more then start tack welding parts onto the floor pan.

Re: Progress on the 66 Vert today

Hey Ed.......you considered using panel adhesive to attach fenders/quarters (and such?)
I have NO experience butt........heard and read a lot of 'positives' about its use. (No warp and much quicker assembly to name a few) Jus say'in!
