Saturday afternoon, B-Ville So Cal?  One other car as far as the eye can see?  I doubt it.  That was a staged pitcher, has to be.  You can't fool me...I lived there once upon a time.

Right? Eerily quiet on the road. And you can actually see the mountains 30 miles to the south.

Oil your hinges.  69-70 rrally benefits from lubed rivets.

Since this is about hinges now. Lower the front of the hinge and the rear will come down.

Thanks guys for the kudos and hinge tips. It has been a while since I last lubed the pivots on the hinges.

Hmm... someone forgot to install the detent for the 1-2 gear rail, which keeps it in gear. DOH! Third time's a charm.
