Your tires might go flat, your bearings might burn up, your carb may become too rich above 3000ft above sea level and blow out rich thick smoke.
But.
Butt....
The most important thing you need to have is music.
What is your mostest bestest favorist cruise song that you hear and instantly it brings the blood pressure down, the accelerator might inch up, you want everyone in the car to shut up and just listen. What is that song?
Joe Bonamassa Drive could be mine. What is yours.

ONE? We get one pic? That is mighty hard to do. We've got The Stones, The Doors and a $hit ton of other artists from which to choose. Sheesh...okay, Green Onions by Booker T & the MGs.

The song that makes my right foot go down is (I got censored! But the title is what you call a female dog.) by the Rolling Stones. Otherwise, for just leisurely cruising, I like quite a few things from The Pat Metheny Group - or I have a playlist of a bunch of Rock & Roll stuff from different artists, and some from Paul Revere & the Raiders. (the bass player and I went all through school together - he's been in the group for 45 years).

Green Grass and High Tides (The Outlaws). But if I'm stressed, my collection of sound clips from the Simpsons never fails to make me smile.

Had a 66 Mustang convertible when I was finishing school in Columbus and continued to work the summer out there. I'd drive home some summer weekends with the top down. First song in the 8-track was Lynyrd Skynyrd "Whisky Rock n Roller".
John, High Tides was one of my favorites too. A friend and I got pulled over for speeding going to one of their concerts out in Ohio. Sense I had an out of state license, had to go pay the fine right then. After that we didn't have enough money to go to the concert. Barely had enough gas to make it home. Almost 40 years later I got to see them at a bike rally.

Danger zone - Kenny Logging
Another Thing coming- Judas Priest.
When we went on the bash trip in 16, I had on George Straight, and Trisha Yearwood. When it was my kids turn, she did some fanagling magic and played songs off her phone through the cars system. I must have had to listen to So you want to be a Canadian? about 50 times!

I start with prayers Pray traveling grace for all. then I do the best with my car that’s possible. I see if the parts can make a 3000 mile trip.I make sure I have a credit card or money I can ship it home. Then I get anxious about seeing FyI brothers and Sisters I haven’t seen in a long time . Then everything in my mind tells me why I shouldn’t drive this car a long distance. Then I realize I can’t save time once it’s spent it’s gone I iif I lose my memory I lived it. Love conquers the fear I turn on the tunes load up and ride. Never mattered to me the condition of the car painted not painted stock or modified.I did what I could afford And updated something every year. The Bash is about the people the cars are gravey on top! Hope to see y’all soon !thats how Coupe gets ready! It’s a process Lol 😂
