Got my new headers

Yesterday my headers showed up.   Not sure when I’ll have time to install the engine to check the fit but I need to do it sooner than later.   If they don’t fit they’ll get sent back.

I spoke with Stan at FPA and he hasn’t made a set of headers for my R&C setup in a few years.   He said he was 8-10 weeks out on orders and gave me a ton of knowledge on the different MII setups and why some headers fit and others don’t.  So that’s what lead to me trying these other headers.

Re: Got my new headers

I BOUGHT A SET OF HOOKER COMP HEADERS FROM JET HOT AND THEY LOOKED JUST LIKE THOSE AND A COUPLE MONTHS LATER THEY WERE FLAKING OFF AND RUSTING BUT THEY BEEN ON IT SINCE 2005 NOW,,,,IF I EVER SWAP THEM OUT I WILL GO TO SHORT TUBE OR HIPO MANIFOLDS.

Its really me....I fixed my caps lock .

Thanks, we had the slab finished from the place we bought it at.  I built the table legs myself and only spent $100 on material.  The place we bought the slab from wanted &800 and up for table legs.  And it was my son who snapped the picture and he is the one who put the header on his moms nice table.  I kindly told him that was a no no.  lol

I should have pictures of the header fitment today.  Just catching up with online stuff and then off to the garage.

Re: Got my new headers

I would love to post pictures but it appears I am unable to.  Not sure why or what has changed.

Both headers fit extremely well and the clutch cable clears the headers perfectly.  Extremely happy with how well they fit.
