Very sorry Billy! Hopefully there's some insurance there to take care of you and the car.

Really sorry to hear about your accident, but very glad that you weren't seriously hurt. We all know about your Mustang's history and what you went through to restore it. So sad to see the picture of it now.
I remember a number of years back that some of us board members pitched in to help you keep your Mustang after your divorce. Also sad to see what happened just when you had started doing some upgrades and thinking of more things to do to your car.
Now - get better first and then you can begin to worry about finding another car. Best of luck on finding a good replacement car (or rebuild yours) and more so, best of luck on a speedy recovery from your injuries.

I am so sorry this happened to you BILLY. WOW did you get hit and hit hard. Every time I look at the picture of the car, I shudder... I am glad you are well and walked away from that wreck.
Probably too early to be thinking what you will do, but I hope you can manage something where the car lives on in some form, because I remember your family history with it.

However did you survive without ABS, traction control, airbags, and five electronic nannies? Seriously though, glad to hear you're okay. Damn shame about the car, but that can always be repaired or replaced.

Can't see the whole mess butt..........Is the back messed up too?
Could you get a front clip welded on ? (That can be done and car drives as good as/better than before)
Believe it or not these frame straightening places can work miracles on cars worse than that!! I got a good story about one that bad (or worse)
You're gonna be sore for several days fer sure. Glad you walked away.

Utter coincidence but I saw a black 66 coupe sitting outside the local Autozone this morning with a "for sale" sign on it. It looked pretty nice from the street but I didn't stop to see it. My first thought that the Mustang gods were opening a door ... but nah, that couldn't be.

Billy sent me a picture of the butt end of his Mustang.
