No kidding. I just paid 4.14 a gallon for the cheap stuff. Thankfully my C-Max doesn't need to get filled up but once every 6 weeks.

I have not paid attention to fuel prices for quite some time. I just paid $3.649 for 13 gallons of 91 Octane this morning. Ouch!

Here in the foothills prices split around $4.00 depending on the station.
Here in the sunny state the oil companies raise the prices whenever some part of the country has an oil shortage. This last one about the pipeline caused gas to go up 0.10-0.20 in one day. Now that the pipeline is back prices may go back down, but maybe in a couple of weeks.

Regular is still a tick under $3, but Diesel is $3.20, and has gone up from $2.45 in January. An increase in gasoline prices amount to an annoyance, but the world runs on Diesel. Everything is the US is moved by truck or rail, and cargo, etc. comes in on ships. This is why the cost of all consumer goods is going up, and funny, they hit you with a fuel surcharge when the price goes up, but I've never seen that removed when the price falls.
