A litany of complaints about the company in general. Nothing about this product in particular, just seems if you have a problem don't expect any real help or support. Things arrived damaged, or failed in short order and they hid behind a 30 day warranty, etc. I think for me it comes down to do I want to stake my car and possibly my life on suspension stuff made overseas?

Tubular control arms made with a custom alloy of Chinese dissident cremains and used appliances. Nice find! I'd be flinching every time I hit a bump in the road with those on my car. Grease boots are probably made out of the least UV/Ozone resistant rubber ever made.

Beings how were on the subject of LCA's, And feel free to delete if this is way off the thread. I have those Global West LCA's .I had to litteraly crowbar and beat my stock LCA's out of the frame with a hammer. Is this normal? Or were the old arms bolted in to tight, and bent the frame in a bit? Hope I don't have to beat the new arms in. Thanks for your time.

I'd say its fairly normal, especially if it had been together for 50+ years. Remember the arms don't rotate around the sleeve through the bushing. The bolt has to be tight enough to trap that sleeve and stop it from rotating. Arm motion is from the rubber being twisted between the sleeve and bushing shell.

New MOOG ball joints are "not the same" as they used to be. When you can buy a brand new Moog upper control arm with bushings and ball joints installed cheaper than the new Moog ball joint and bushing kit, you know something is up. If you do use the new Moog UCA assembly, disassemble and grease and adjust and weld before installing or they will be problematic. Right out of the box, it is nearly impossible to rotate the UCA bushings. That means they are in one heck of a bind, not to mention having been assembled totally dry. Use the MustangSteve assembly method. Luckily, they copied my grooved shaft design so all you have to do is lube and reassemble with the tack welds.

Since we are on the LCA topic, I noticed Centric makes a lower ball joint for Mustangs, just the ball joint. Not the whole arm. Seems you would have to drill out the rivets to bolt on the new ones? Is that even practical? They bolt into the rivet location and bolt under the strut rod as well. There must be a market for these because they still make them. They go for like $32 at Summit. Whole arms with ball joints are cheaper.

NPD has rivets if you prefer and have the tooling to seat them properly.
Bolting them in is acceptable.

Definitely not on the rear, possibly still on the front. The drop moves the arms rearward a bit for more positive caster, so it puts the rear of the arm closer to the shock tower.

My 90 degree zircs fit fine after doing the “drop.” I should have put on extended ones in hindsight.
