There are crate motor horror stories too on other Mustang sites.
I dropped my heads off at the machine shop yesterday, and a machinist taking my work said parts are really difficult to get these days. Said sbc bearings can't be found.

Bro, just buy a high-quality, well-built SHORT BLOCK (roller/non-roller...blah-blah-blah whatever!) and then do your own thing to it.
