It is amazing to me how this forum has allowed me to meet and make friends with people from far away places that I would never have had an opportunity to meet.
Today, Sherry and I went to Gruene, Tx to the Gristmill Restaurant with Bonnie and Rich (Red 351 on the forum). They are from Pennsylvania, wintering in Texas and points beyond in their RV.
A great mini-bash.

Cool!
Yep.......we all sorta pass Rich & Bonnie around.
They were here a few years back...sorta passing thru to warmer environs.
We all did-the-dinner-thang and kinda caught up a bit .
Fun couple!!

Very cool.
We met Rich & Bonnie at our first Bash in Franklin , TN. It might have been their first Bash, too. They each drove their own car! Some of the finest, down to earth folks we have met. I especially admire Rich's insistence to keep life simpler by carrying his flip phone. When I toss in the work towel (one of these days) I'm gonna follow his example.
We also enjoyed Gruene when we went to the Wimberly Bash. Great memories. ALL because MS started this ragtag group. I still have pics from the Salt Lick BBQ joint on my phone.
MANY thanks to MS and Sherry, for putting up with this group, many of which just like to drop in and say hello. Keep it going...

I look forward to having more FYIFORD friends stop by and visit. I have a Mustang sign in my game room that all visitors sign (Thanks, Prof). It is getting pretty full, so don’t delay!

There will be more… and I am not talking about lame excuses for not attending!

Yeah I’ll admit that I have used some lame excuses . . . . being 83 years old, 5 major joint replacements, lower back fused and arthritic joints has kept me from doing a lot of things, some of them actually necessary.

Heck Rudi, if US/Canada border crossings normalize and remain normal, ya never know who might show up for a cup of coffee...

That’s cool. I hope when I get my car done I’ll have chance to run into others.

The Keurig is always ready to go Josh.
It seems that the rules change weekly, I have been trying for months to get over to ship some stuff USPS but no luck sp far.
