Changed the transmission on my 06 Ranger. Used all of the above. 
 


67 Coupe, 5.0 EEC IV Fuel injected. T5, 3:70 rear

I've always called them a gas axe, but no one understands it .... might be a Kiwi thing.

Years ago I stopped using the intermediate steps.  If the first one doesn't work I go directly to the blue wrench.  I've found I break far fewer fasteners (and tools) like that.
