Went to New Braunfels swap meet today

Some good finds!  None of which I need but bought anyway:

Pair of new-in-box Ford original 17x8 Bullitt alloy wheels like for 2001 Bullitt ( same as on my fastback)

Pair of 1984 5.0 aluminum finned valve covers POWER BY FORD

Autolite 4100 4v carb in good shape. Not sure what year it is.

Boxes full of red plastic bolt bins, all new. Well, those will get used.

Found a guy selling Made In USA electrical connectors of all types, so I stocked up.

Still, the guy selling the blue rags is MIA !!! I am running out.

Weather was perfect and it was a great day to get out and relax and just look at alot of fun junk.

The blue rags were hospital quality.  I think they WERE used, sterilized hospital rags. No lint.

I use to bring home bags full of blue sterile rags from the hospital every day.  Unused of course.  I do not have the daily access to them like I use since I left hospital and went to work for Medtronic.  I still go into the labs for implants but I haven't been asking for any of the rags.  Except last Friday I got called back to the hospital for a case that ended up getting canceled.  Since they had already set up the sterile table, I asked if I could take the rags.  I use to give them to every one I knew that could use them.  They use to just toss them in the trash.  I do have plenty to last me a long time.

As for swap meets.  I haven't attended one in a very long time.

If they were actually used in a procedure some one could get into big trouble by trying to sell them and just for taking dirty items from the hospital.

What they may be is sterile rags to dry their hands after they scrub in for the procedure.  I would save those as well as the unused ones from a clean sterile table.  Meaning the sterile packs are packed with more rags than we would use for a given procedure.  So we would toss off what we knew we wouldn't use.
