    Front Bumpah Project

    While I was building my '69 Mustang Coupe I had removed the two stamped locations in the front lower valance where the front license plate bracket was supposed to go. When she came back from paint and I installed the front bumpah, I looked and said I should have deleted the notch out in the bumpah. This has always bothered me. So, this year I finally did something about it. I found a doner bumpah for $50 and cut out a patch to weld in the cutout when I removed the notch. I had Tri-City Plating in Johnson City, Tennesse re-chrome the bumper. My vision finally complete. A nice looking bumpah with clean lines.

    Man, you could be Foose trained.  That's very nice work.  You gonna make it to the Bash this year?  Would love to lay eyes on that car.

    I love the 69 front end.  How about some side pics showing the quarter panel scoops?

    Here in my area of Canada it’s 1000 dollars to get a Mustang bumper re-chromed.

    I've seen this 69 'in-person' and it is a suh-weeet ride!
    It's the small-subtle changes in a classic that drawz my attention the most...dis-beez-one!

    Here are a few more pictures of Chelby=Ann. The bumper re-chrome cost me $650. I was only 2.5 hours away, so I dropped it off and picked it up. Quoted 8-10 weeks. Finished up after 9 weeks. As for the bash. That's gonnah be a tough one to make as my daughter ($$$) is getting married November 11th. The Mini-Bash in October may be more realistic for me. Ill get to one of these MS Bashes. Thanks for all the kind words. Looking forward to meeting up with all of you soon. Any of you traveling thru North Carolina to the BASH and plan on stopping let me know, I could come meet up with you at your stop. I'm between Statesville and Winston Salem and 2 hours from Raleigh and an hour North of Charlotte. The Mustang Museum is in Concord, North Carolina. .;'
